Breastfeeding is a teamwork. When there are breastfeeding difficulties, we will treat both the mother and the baby. Bodywork for a breastfeeding mother can open up energy channels, aiding milk production and flow. It also helps minimize discomfort, pain, and soreness in the breasts. Some babies may have muscle and soft tissue tensions or restrictions in the body. By applying gentle hands-on treatment can result a positive effect on the latch and breastfeeding difficulties. The baby's latch is the foundation of breastfeeding. It takes time for a newborn to learn and practice in a proper way. We strongly disagree with the use of nipple shields for a newborn's latch-learning process. This is not simply a lactation consultant service, Heng's hands-on care and support for the mother and the baby, are helpful for your successful breastfeeding journey.
Heng's Method of Breastfeeding:
1. Ensure that your whole body is pain-free,
2. Hands-free breastfeeding positions,
3. Ensure your milk supply matches your baby's demand.

Infant Bodywork
- Latch & Feeding Support
- Pre & Post Tongue Tie Release
$210 / hr
+ $30 (When Parents Video Record the Session)
Infant bodywork plays a vital role in supporting babies before and after a tongue tie release procedure (frenectomy). This gentle, specialized therapy helps to release tension in the baby's muscles and fascia, improving their ability to feed, breathe, and move more comfortably. Pre-release bodywork prepares the baby’s body by loosening tight tissues that may have compensated for restricted tongue movement. After the procedure, bodywork promotes optimal healing, eases discomfort, prevents reattachment, and supports the baby in learning new, more effective feeding patterns. This holistic approach ensures a smoother recovery and enhances overall well-being for both baby and parents.

Hands-Free Breastfeeding Positions

$ 210/ 60 Min
(Follow-up with Prenatal Breastfeeding Training)
$ 315/ 60 Min
(Without Prior Prenatal Breastfeeding Appointment)
Hands-free breastfeeding is an essential practice for a breastfeeding mother's quick recovery and restful sleep. By reducing strain on the body, it helps prevent chronic pain and injuries often caused by prolonged holding and awkward nursing positions.
Breastsleeping—breastfeeding while sleeping and sleeping while breastfeeding—is a natural, restorative practice. With the right techniques, your baby can learn to maintain a safe and balanced position on your chest, allowing you to nurse without bearing their full body weight with your arms.
You and your partner will learn how to practice hands-free breastfeeding in both seated and lying-down positions. Partners will also be guided on how to assist with baby positioning and setting up pumping parts while you're resting or asleep.

Chinese Lactation Massage
开奶 催乳 通乳
$ 420/ 90 Min
Lactation massage is a traditional Chinese medicine practice for breastfeeding for thousands of years. It is a hands-on treatment for low milk supply, oversupply, breast engorgement (3-5 days after birth), breast pain, clogged milk ducts, and weaning. When there is more rapid, more sustained milk flow can improve the baby's latch and decrease nipple soreness and breast pain. This is a powerful therapeutic treatment for breastfeeding mothers. Usually, only one or two sessions are required in your entire breastfeeding journey.
